Sarolta Bán, a 27 years old female artist from Budapest, Hungary. She makes the most amazing surreal photo-manipulation artworks. “I’m not so good in talking about myself.. I prefer the pictures ‘talk’” she claims. I agree with her, it is best to let the artwork tell its story then putting it into contest and preventing those who enjoy it from reaching their own conclusions!

Ball Point Pen Drawings

 One of Juan Francisco Casas’ drawings, based on a photograph and recreated with only a blue pen. The 32-year old Spanish artist submitted his first realist ballpoint-pen drawing at a national competition in 2004 – and won second prize! The rest is history and Casas hasn’t really looked at traditional painting methods again.A ballpoint pen is a writing instrument with an internal ink reservoir and a sphere for a point. The internal chamber is filled with a viscous ink that is dispensed at its tip during use by the rolling action of a small sphere. The sphere, usually from 0.5mm to 1.2 mm in diameter, may be made of brass, steel, tungsten carbide,[1] or any durable, hard (nondeformable) material.
